Resume Bullet Point Examples: Show Your Real Contribution
A useful bullet tells a reader what you did and why it mattered. Specific work is more informative than a string of adjectives, even when you do not have a percentage to report.
Use action, context and a supported result
Begin with what you did. Add what you worked on, who you worked with or how you approached it. Include an outcome when you know it. If the result was not measured, describe the completed output rather than guessing a number.

Answered customer questions about orders and returns, documented unresolved issues and passed them to the support lead.
Replace vague claims with concrete work
Words such as “hardworking” and “excellent communicator” need evidence. Show a task that required the quality instead. Keep each bullet focused enough that a reader can understand it on the first pass.

Great team player with strong organizational skills.
More specific
Maintained the shared project checklist and followed up with contributors before weekly handoffs.
Use numbers when they are real
Team size, request volume, budget or time saved can add context when you know the figures and can share them. Do not estimate a percentage just to make a bullet sound impressive. If a number is confidential, use a truthful non-sensitive description of the work.
Tailor the emphasis to the role
Compare your examples with the posting. For a coordination role, the handoff process may deserve emphasis; for a technical role, the implementation details may matter more. The underlying contribution stays the same. Avoid repeating keywords where they do not naturally fit.
